This series has a strong main character in Alex Cross, a character who we can empathize with. The villain is icky. The plotlines are tense and intense. Also, there are many characters who show that they are very good -- or very bad! Overall, I enjoy watching this show!

Very interesting plot. Fun to watch. I'm actually looking forward to each episode! With me, that doesn't happen very often!

This movie touched me. It's nice to see a story about Michael Jackson done with kindness. I thought the actor who portrayed Michael was very, very good, also. Michael Jackson was a complicated and flawed person, but he really was the King of Pop. I miss him.

The movie is great, aesthetically, but has no real heart. The scenes are like separate clips just strung together and didn't affect me emotionally. Neither did they engage me intellectually. Just a slick, shallow, unsatisfying surface of a movie.

It was a touching love story, with both Maiwen and Johnny Depp committed to their roles. The essential niceness of Depp showed in his depiction of Louis. I found that this film affected me in a positive way.

Very good acting by all cast, very touching story & plenty o' action.

***SPOILER IN THIS REVIEW*** This was VERY HARD to watch. Slavery, and the horrors that went with it -- and the unbearable horror of being dragged back into that era, and with no one knowing where you are ... the most horrifying thing to me is that there are, or might be, people who would like to do what the villains in this movie did. This is what will not let me sleep through the night.

Unfortunately, I rate this installment of The Equalizer as formulaic, overblown, even ridiculous in places! Boring! Denzel Washington is stuck in a muddled plot. The sets look like a less-expensive John Wick. In fact, the whole thing looks like a less-expensive John Wick. "Less expensive" is the last term I'd associate with Denzel Washington. He deserves much, much better, and can do much better in choosing his projects. I am looking forward to seeing him in whatever role he chooses to do next, so that I can forget about this movie!
