I liked the show was set to be limited. Cause this was definetly now a show that could go 8season long.
Note on the show
- Limited show worked in favor for the show
- Flashbacks from when the apocalypse began were great
- Strong story regarding the CRM was well fleshed out
- The best performance in this series was by Nicolas Cantu as Elton. Never overdid it, Was able to strike the right balance in every scene he had and with whomever he performed alongside.
- Other excellent performances were by Natalie Gold as Lyla Belshaw, Ted Sutherland as Percy, Joe Holt as Leopold "Leo" Bennett, Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis Stokes / Anne, Maximilian Osinski as Dennis Graham, Madelyn Kientz as Asha, Julia Ormond as Elizabeth Kublek, Anna Khaja as Indira
- Nico Tortorella as Felix Carlucci performed well with what he was given but the lack of backstory hurt his character and his love story with Will was lackluster, didn't feel it progressed, and lacked a little chemistry.
- Annet Mahendru as Jennifer "Huck" Mallick was good especially as the season went on. especially with scenes involving her on-screen Mother, Husband, and Jadis.
- Hal Cumpston as Silas Plaskett, Even though it was an even performance, the Actor and character came alive with Hal flexing those acting in the series finale.
- Some great stakes were set for whom would survive this season. Keeps us guessing.
- Iris and Hope's characters, although suppose to lead the show, are actually my least favourite part of the show, including the performance by the actors. The Characters portraying as they know it all in spite of more experienced characters around them, the Selfish decisions, the lack of empathy and the constant entitlement they feel. those characters werent well written and the performances felt very forced. Their decision putting lives and entire community in danger without even a thought made no sense.
- Episodes 7, 8 and 9 were great while series finale episode 10 was the best of the seaon
- Aisha Tyler did some brilliant directing for Episode 4
- Looking foward to some characters making their way to other parts of TWD universe.
