My sister held me hostage after we went to go get food, and i was expecting her to take me back home but she stopped her car pulled up Mavka and forced me to watch this movie. The plot is boring, and although the visuals are not bad it has no memorable or distinct character design, additionally Mavka as a main character is highkey annoying and characters are so bland and 2 dimensional that if Mavka’s name wasn’t in the title I wouldn’t even know the protagonist’s name. As a bonus point of being held hostage to watch this boring movie is the guy character who wants to be an aspiring musician can’t play music for his uncles life. Yes I know this is a movie aimed for children but I guarantee you if i set a child in front of the tv to watch this movie they would go do something else, just because a movie is aimed for children doesn’t mean it has an excuse to be a bore, very disappointed about the missed potential.
