It was too fast, there was so much we missed out on. The movie itself was cute IF you didn't read the book. But then if you didn't read it. You wouldnt have even known who Jesse was. I was disappointed that they tried to make it more comedy too. Like, a little comedy is okay... but it was almost cheesy. This should have been a lot longer movie because important things from the book were totally forgotten about in the movie. And the story is quite different. I do have to say Parker's scene in the car was hilarious and I loved that even though it wasn't in the book. I also think that the people they chose to play the characters did a great job. America is supposed to be blonde though. The Pigeon tattoo was a miss because it declared his love for her and showed how serious he was. The movie seemed a little jumbled from the book and that's okay... but it didn't really make sense. Like when she went ti poker night with the Maddox family and they all found out her dad was Mick. THEN Travis gets mad after seeing a message from Mick thinking it was another guy? It didn't make sense because Mick isn't a very common name and he already knew it was her dad.
