Wow.. amazing. I'm new to book-reading, you could say it has taken me a very long time to find a genre that would keep me engaged for long enough.
Anyway. "None of this is true" is incredibly gripping and keeps you guessing and wanting more the whole way through. I found myself wanting to skip to the end just to find out how it ends, although I stuck with it in the end, and done it the "proper way" - page by page.
Fantastic page turner. The three-faceded format of the story makes the book flow with ease but yet each segment adds just enough detail to leave you wanting more. The interview parts add so much depth and it's a familiar format for any true crime material consumer.
I have also scanned the podcast barcode at the back - and what a clever detail to add! Although it's made clear to us that the podcast is all fiction and purely produced as an audible aid in support of the story, it is great to be able to hear the two characters interactions in audio format, adds to the detail of how they both speak, how they are.
The story-line itself is emersive, full of twists and turns! And the last couple of pages left me pondering alternative "truths" or endings.
Overall, very accessible, brilliant. I look forward to reading more from Lisa Jewell.
