As someone who has played the first game well over 15 times and loved every minute of it, I can say I am absolutely blown away by the second game. Sure it still only runs at 30fps, but the first game also ran at 30fps and looked amazing for its time. That being said, I don’t think the fram-rate hinders this game at all. The world is incredibly stunning and you can tell so much love went into this game. As for the “negative” feedback I’m seeing from other “players” I have this to say: You clearly don’t understand the game and haven’t bothered getting more than an hour into it. Yes, there are micro-transations, but they merely serve as a Time-Saver in my opinion, which I think is a nice new option for players who might not want to spend hundreds of hours looking for them. But that being said EVERYTHING in the online-store can be obtain just by playing the game. You do not NEED to buy anything. And everyone complaining about that, would know if they were actual fans. People complaining about only having one save file shouldn’t be surprised, as it was the same in the first game. Yes, there was an option at the title screen to start a new game, but with the second game, I believe the developers knew we would get sucked in and would quickly realize how massive this game is, and starting over would only hinder the overall experience. You can also purchase (in-game) with gold, items to change you and your pawns appearance and that solves that “issue”. I think this game is a love-letter to the fans of the original with so many things expanded upon and makes for a more organic exploration of this beautifully created world, and I just wanted to leave a positive comment for the developers to see that TRUE fans are not discouraged by the small micro-transactions and appreciate the option to buy them, but to not be forced to. That we are so thankful to have even gotten a second game, and don’t let the “negative” reviews from people who just love to complain, hold any sort of weight, as this game is absolutely wonderful. If in the future if we get an update for the game to run at 60fps, well that’d be an added bonus, but in its current state, does not hinder the overall fantastic presentation of this masterpiece. Thank you, for all that you’ve done and I’m honored to return to the realm as an Arisen once more. 🙏🏼
