Baz Luhrmann’s filmmaking can be odd. However, I believe this is his best movie and one of the best this year. I watched it leaving my opinions of Elvis and Tom Parker at home. I also know writers and directors are telling a story. I won’t comment on the complete authenticity because I don’t know it. I believe it’s every bit as good as Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s an amazing bio-pic of a much loved American artist and told through the lens of Baz Luhrmann. Go see it. Take your spouse. It’s really that good!
