Why do a film of the books if this is what you aim for? Great characters in books never show up here. Granted, it's a lot but you need a Peter Jackson type at the helm who understands it's going to take 4-5 films, or more like Harry Potter, to get this right. Someone make this a streaming series and get it right.

I expected so much and got too little with this Dolittle. No charm or warmth and a waste of talent and time.

Don't know what people and critics didn't like about this. I'm not a hig4e Star Wars fan since the first three but I enjoyed the humor, action and effects. For the first time in a long time, one of these felt like the first film in its lightness.
