Such a disappointment!!!! An absolutely fantastic storyline with two huge cases. Slow in parts, but I pushed through to see what ultimately happened. And then.....NOTHING?!?!? Grisham burns his readers by refusing to give the ending we all craved. Write a bad ending, even. The kid gets the death penalty and the Smallwood case is lost. But give us the respect of SOME kind of closure after spending hours of our lives reading this. Sorry, but Grisham has lost me as a fan.
