I listened to Colson Whitehead on Npr discussing his new book Crook Manifesto, and knew I gad to read it, but first I needed to read Harlem Shuffle and meet Ray Carney; Colson's writing is so eloquent, he brings to life the Harlem of the late 195Os early 60s...i can't wait to see what happens in the next book
