Disgustingly ghetto low budget looking concoction of a nothingness movie. I'm suprised Whoopi is in something like this. I generally love her movies. This is a step down for her in every way. Spike always has weirdly concocted movies (other than "Malcolm X") but this takes the cake. He, Whoopi, and Danny Glover should be ashamed of themselves for this mess. Ridiculous, offensive, nothingness, clichés, stereotypes, and ignorance disguised as entertainment.

Hated it. I'm sick of movies of Black people wanting to be white. I'm Black and find the notion and such movies ultra offensive. Not my idea of entertainment. Wasted my time.

Offensively ghetto and contrived. Sad that people desperately sell anything to make money. I stopped watching after 30 minutes. Wanted to stop 5 minutes in but waited to see if it improved as it went on. It didn't.

I'm watching it for the first time. Just watched the first hour. So far it's trash. Cheesy, boyish shock value and football clips without much of a story line. Eventually it mellowed out and provided some food for thought. I didn't have a problem with the ending. Not certain why a lot of people did. I'd give the movie 2 1/2 stars if I could. Three is kinda pushing it.
