Yea, I skipped through most of the book, solved the mysteries, and predicted who the character married all by chapter 16. There's been literally no character growth in 30 books. The Lula is a hoe trope hasn't aged well and is getting old. Ranger is just fulfilling some twisted fetishisation fantasy at this point. If the wedding is treated like a random Tuesday errand, then why should we as readers even care. It's time to ressurect some of the other series that have better depth, like Fox and O'Hare. Stick a fork in this one because it is well done.
