I enjoyed the movie so much and I was not a fan of Elvis. I was always told he was racist and didn't like black people. From watching this movie it looked like he was most comfortable and at home with black artists and people. Although he did tell BB King he would like to record Little Richies song it never did say if he stole the song or paid for it. This by no means makes him a racist in my book. Everyone steals in the music industry. He was very unhappy not being able to make the music that captured his soul all because he was white and the music he loved was from black people. He was very sad and mad at 42 because he was forced to perform to pay bills and not the music that filled his heart. With his God-given gifts and talents, he should have been freed to bring people together. through music regardless of genre. What a Shame on America, the haters, and the crooks in the music industries!
