The book is beautifully written, demonstrating Obama’s incredible intelligence and conscience.it starts with his earlier career as senator and how his childhood informed his beliefs and values. It gives an insight into decisions regarding the recession he inherited, how Republicans tried to thwart everything he was doing. Fascinating insight into Foreign affairs, decisions of war and White House staff. If only there were more people like Obama, humble and brilliant, saddened that Americans only unite for National sports and National defenders against enemies. It shows how the events happening today we’re already evident in his time when great divides appeared and the media loved a showman, Trump, and didn’t care that what he said was fiction. Entertainment became more respected than truth. I loved it, takes concentration but worth it.
