It simply doesn’t compare with the French original’Astrid’. I guess the majority of viewers who think this version is so great don’t really know the French language version. The characters in Astrid are more interesting and dynamic. Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere have such an amazing relationship and the subtleties of the humor are really charming. Sara has developed a more convincing autistic character than Ella, in my opinion.
