I loved this book. I learned so much about FDR and the conditions women faced during that time period. So much of what we know about FDR Great deal changes in our society were based on Frances Perkings desire to leave a better future to working people. So many laws she implemented then such as social security, 40 hr. Work week have their beginning with the hard work of “a woman’. Great writing from Stephanie Dray makes the story compelling, interesting and enjoyable to read.
