Impossible to even picture this as historically accurate when it comes to the "sea" scene in the coliseum. Cheesy and overdone references to the first movie. Great action scenes, but that's about it. Don't get your hopes up if you think it will come close to the wonder of the original Gladiator.

Fun to watch, excellently portrayed scenes, and great actors. Highly recommend if looking for something different and excitedly familiar in a few aspects.
