Robert Eggers' Nosferatu (2024) I am Romanian, so for me, this was a "must see" movie. After the first 10 minutes, I knew it would be a flop. Too much CGI, too much unrealistic backgrounds, too much noise and forced darkness, besides the acting of the main characters which is subpar. Looks like a cheaply made B movie. Comparing this to "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992) doesn't even stand a chance. The costumes were the only good thing, honestly, even though the wigs they used for the women...oh...horrible! Cheap looking and sooo unflattering! The last point I want to make is that Romanian and Romani is not the same. Romanian is the language Romanian people speak, and Romani is the language Rromani (gypsy) people speak. The two are not the same in any way, shape or form. Spare yourself 2 hours of your life watching something better.
