There are only a few movies which you would feel that it should never end. You would feel the anxiety that it's coming to an end and feel sad about those two hours of a bohemian ecstatic world that's coming to an end as you've travelled into the movie with the characters. There's the sweet little space between feeling so content and having a longing that's so deep and intense. You perceive the contentment felt by the characters in the movie, experiencing a sense of fulfillment. But at the same time long for the reel world to transcend into your reality.
Maara leaves you with that oxymoronic state of mind. The setting bewildering, the narration so heartwarming without any loose ends with the mellifluous music interspersed at the right intervals leaves you with a beaming smile and dewy-eyed. Watch it to feel good-no, great about the power of love and destiny. My first and everlasting love will be Maddy.
