The premise of the film had so much promise, but failed to deliver. Some of the performances within were ok, while others fell short. I had high hopes going into this one, but was left down.

A House at the Bottom of a Lake is a wonderfully crafted tale of love, fear, and discovery. Not just of what's in the water, but within the characters.
Josh Mallerman weaves a story that is hard to put down and easy to become fully immersed in. The descriptions of the house, the lakes, and the dialogue between the main characters was so thoughtfully and expertly done.
