Just finished episode 1. I had some hopes for the series. But the acting and the writing ruins it. The CGI is pretty good, but tbh that's it. The scenes feel so rushed; a moment that's meant to be emotional lasts about 5 seconds then they're onto the next thing. This could also be down to the poor acting, and whilst I try to remember they are kids, they managed to find decent ones for stranger things, so it can't be that hard right? The water tribe people looking nothing like in the series, I wouldn't mind, but surely they'd at least try and make Katara and Sokka accurate? Obvioulsy i've only watched the first episode, but from the other reviews, I haven't got my hopes up.

I really do think this is a love or hate type of short series- as you can probably see from the reviews. If you’re someone like me who loves deep thinking, romance and emotions, then this is for you. If your someone who watched things for the actions and huge events in a film/series, then this probably isn’t for you. However I personally loved watching this. It’s easy to watch and great to just relax and escape from reality for a while. I was quite sad to see there’s only 3 episodes.
