the acting was absolutely phenomenal but i found myself struggling to get through some of the episodes, the pacing was so slow but also so rushed. Also didn’t help that every single episode directed by christopher storer had an insane amount of music. i swear his episodes were 90% music and 10% constant zooms of the actors/actresses faces. After several hours of this i began to dread any of the episodes directed by him. I enjoyed the cast and the overall plot (when there is an actual plot and not constant montages with music over it) But i found they so much is happening but so little is happening at the same time. there is constant going back and forth of the present and past and a lot of time there’s really no indication you’re looking at a flashback. I enjoyed the series but it’s not something i would reccomend binging. and i do not see myself ever watching anything mr Storer directs again.
