This film isn’t the worst, but it’s definitely not the best. Starting off with its weaknesses, the main problem I had was with the characters. They didn’t have much depth and some of them fit typical archetypes you see everywhere else. You get the idea, they’re ‘flat’ characters with unchanging personalities with little to no development. And I don’t know why, but the soundtracks are very forgettable and are lacking rhythm. The feeling of it is similar to the first movie’s but with the impact taken away. I will say that the animation is pretty good though. TLDR: Pros: Good animation Cons: forgettable characters, soundtracks, and plot

Honestly, at first I was skeptical of this movie. I hear people saying it was very good, but doesn’t expand more than that. But after watching the movie, I understood why. This movie is relatively simple. Some storyline plots were predictable, the characters were easy to understand, and the pacing was fine. However, it was an extremely heartwarming movie. It felt comforting, like how a Christmas movie should be. The animation was also nostalgic. The colors popped and complimented each other, it felt 2d even though it’s a kinda a mix between 3d and 2d, and was overall visually stunning. I’m not going to go to too much depth here, and maybe the movie doesn’t really deserve 5 stars from a critic’s point of view, but it’s a movie I feel everyone should watch at least once.

Honestly was one of the best movies I watched so far. I loved how the movie fleshed out some of the existing characters and added new ones that add to the plot. Was also one of the most emotional movies I have seen in my life. 10/10
