Im a rockford native and wanted to love this series the way i love the movie but i do not like the end result. I watched all of it and i feel like they tarnished the history as well as the family friendly feel it originally had. The movie You could watch with your kids and learn history about the peaches and the sport of baseball and women rights back then. Now its whole storyline is about homosexual relationships and black inequality with a little baseball here and there. It was clearly made to apese the gay community by the gay community and not kid friendly.
