Just go watch the Critical Drinker's review. As usual, he says everything that needs to be said about this and most films. Bottom line, little more than a contrived effort to create a female role where one doesn't belong. NYT says she has "sleuth skills that rival" Sherlock. except all she really does is solve little convenient puzzles and get dragged along by a plot that relies on one convenience after another. This is NOT something women should tout as an acceptable or even entertaining story or role. Someone do something truly original, invest in the world, and accept that it takes time and a lot of hard work to do something well AND have people recognize it as suck.
