The exposition takes a while to get through, but is absolutely indispensable to the movie. The submarine sequence is claustrophobic, tense— legitimately breathtaking. The Fallout reminiscent plane chase is probably the best Mission Impossible ending yet. Characters are as fleshed out as ever and the story is engaging. Overall a clear 5/5 experience.
