The game so far (on console) feels very unfinished. Me and my friends find ourselves clipping through the map, hitting invisible walls all the time on the bikes, at one point later in chapter one, there was a force field wall that gets turned off to get to our objective but we were still running into it. We had to find a way to clip through it just to continue the mission. Character progression (and customization) feels kind of lame to me. With only one Augment slot available unless you play Siren, like what’s the point of having 6 augment options but you can’t mix and match the ones from later in the tree. And don’t even get me started on the loot drops. Completely atrocious so far. Finding chests and seeing bosses drop loot feels more like a chore having to sift through every crap item thrown about just to MAYBE find a decent item. Which most of the time, you don’t, and you get a backpack full of junk. But hey, at least there’s the “pick up as junk” button, that’s been nice.
On the upside, the game still has some great moments and dialogue, and the story so far feels okay, there’s a ton of map to explore which makes for a lot to do. Unfortunately the more we’ve played, the more we’ve been bogged down by unstable gameplay.
