First off, many of the situations and the characters reactions make no common sense. Second, the writers don’t seem to even have a basic understanding of law enforcement. So much that it is a huge distraction from the believably of the show. For example, the county sheriffs is not the one who a state trooper reports to. And the sheriff is not the one who offer raises, contract extensions, and awards to a state trooper, yet this show seems to think that a Montana State Trooper reports to the sheriff. That’s just the beginning of the unrealistic writing in this show.
