“Ulajh" had the potential to be a captivating film but ultimately fell short, particularly in its portrayal of the main character, an IFS officer. The character felt underdeveloped, and Janhvi, who played the lead, struggled to bring depth to the role. While she may excel in musical performances, this character required a different kind of gravitas. It’s disappointing that the screenplay didn’t fully flesh out her character or draw on the complexities of being an IFS officer. A more thorough understanding of the profession could have significantly enhanced both the character and the overall narrative. The film missed the mark in delivering a compelling and believable story.
