I pre-ordered the English translation and divided in as soon as it arrived. What a disappointment. Who cares if Bennie makes it to the church on time - this theme overshadowed all the others. Word padding? Very little real sleuthing on the part of Vaughan and Bennie they need to be retired now. Please mr Meyer give us another Fever (still counts among one of the best stories I have ever read).
