I cannot quite understand how such a great cast would be remotely interested in appearing in something like this. It is truly awful! Caricatures of Lancashire life are terrible, modern day tech phones and talk of Amazon drivers, placed into a context that looks like the 1970s. Even the cops are driving obsolete vehicles - totally anachronistic! Or is this what they think is modern day, "up North, up North!" None of it makes sense! I got most of the way through episode 2 and, I am truly bored of this! There have been some fantastic, flagship dramas of late but this is truly bottom of the heap. Won't be watching any more of this. - God forbid there is a second series planned!
