Singing is what Linda Ronstadt has always been about. I saw her at The Troubador in the mid-late 60's with The Stone Poneys and can still visualize her on stage. It was wonderful to see her self-confidence take on an incredible trajectory of music and life. I loved Jackson Browne's final comment (gotta see the movie). And to hear how her childhood musical exposures influenced her musical choices as the years went by. She was always only responsible and true to herself and lost her voice way too early. Who knows what else she might have taken on.
