M3GAN 2.0 is an exhilarating ride with great laughs, exciting action, and an incredibly iconic leading lady! My family and I watched it, and none of us minded one bit that it was a complete departure from the first film. The switch from horror to action was a total non-issue for us. In fact, all of us agreed that M3GAN 2.0 was the better film!! * The humor in this movie isn't nearly as suffocating as the trailers might make it seem. It is balanced and spread out. The movie has a good handle of knowing when it's appropriate to tell a joke and when to focus on telling its story. * The action is thrilling. Great choreography. The battles between M3GAN and AMELIA are out-of-nowhere high quality. You can tell that a lot of hard work was put into this. The switch from horror to action was not done lightly. They made sure the action would satisfy, and I was certainly beyond satisfied! * M3GAN is, unsurprisingly, my favorite character in this movie. Every second she was onscreen, I was mesmerized. Her attitude, her wit, her strengths, and her vulnerabilities all elevate her to more than just a killer doll. M3GAN is inspiring. She wants to learn, to grow, and to become a better "person." I don't want her story to end. Her pull is just that strong! Give this movie a chance! Don't rob yourself of the pleasure of witnessing M3GAN on the big screen!
