I have been a fan of D&D for many a year now and started playing D&D PC games back when the Gold boxes came out. I played all of the Baldur's Gate line and was excited when I saw they were going to come out with a BG3, hoping they would continue the lore it had built up. Sadly they fell well short if at all to that lore. As far as game play, the graphics need fixing and the story line is meh at best, considering it did not follow the Bhal spawn lore. The Die roller seems bugged, out of 10 rolls nothing above a 10 and even when I beat the DC, which was a 5, I failed. I understand this is the early release and hopefully this is looked at and fixed. If you are looking to 5e D&D, well you get part of it here, but hell you can play a horrible game called Sword Coasts legends and get the same amount of 5e it gives you . They do not offer all the classes for section and when it comes time to choose which archtype, you get two choices, not even the best choices in my opinion. If you are going to claim to be 5E than be 5E. I bought the game with high hopes and basically found that I was Destiny 3 with a BG3 label slapped on. Well so much for that, I hope they can fix this hot mess and making it 5E in the future, but no way to fix the lore they dashed into the rocks.
