Such a pathetic movie… just watched on Netflix…zero logic in story..poor execution…no proper character development, first 1 hour movie was decent.. but second half of the movie is just frustrating to watch…over hyped acting and unnecessary over the top violence. Women are objectified and treated with disrespect by almost every male character in this stupid vulgar film… movie is way too long. Can’t understand what people liked about this movie.. there is no real entertainment value… trash cinema. Ironically, the best part of the movie was 10 mins before the end.. the scene between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor doing role reversals as father and son. Why did this film even get a Filmfare nomination for best film category and what was so great about Ranbir Kapoor’s acting for best actor nomination… seriously. He is a great actor but not in this movie.. he seems lost because of poor script and confusing portrayal of his character. How does Vikrant Massey gets snubbed from this best actor list for his top notch performance in 12th Fail??? And what was so praiseworthy in Bobby Deol’s 10-15 minute cameo and Anil Kapoor’s underwhelming body language and facial expressions (for such a successful business tycoon) for them to receive best supporting actor nominations?
Movies like KGF 1 and Pushpa are amazing movies with exceptional screen presence of lead actors and mind blowing performances of all supporting cast… the violence, dialogues and action sequences depicted in these movies goes quite well with the overall story flow
