Love the show itself, but super let down by the places I've been. Most recently OB Noodle House and growing up in Ocean Beach, wanted to love it. There is no way this broth is what they showed us. Over salted, too much star anise, not enough fat and flavor to have been made from the meats they showed. Grew up a few blocks from Hodad's...never ate there. Burger joint up from the beach, meh. Check out Cicciottis if you actually want good food. Cardiff and Carlsbad village. The seafood salad is AMAZING! And Borrellis in Encinitas, the gluten free pizza is rockstar!
