Having to register with Ubisoft to play this game killed it for me. Yes, one can play the game "offline", but this also becomes a tedious exercise, having to switch from connected to disconnected all the time on the PS5. I was super excited to play AC Valhalla but could not be bothered due to having to register. My intention was to play this title as a stand alone, single player campaign. I have played a couple of hours into the game and graphic-wise it is very impressive. Playability is okay. No comment on the storyline as I have not played deep enough into the title to comment on that. Regrettably, I will not be seeing this one to the end. What a waste of money because of such a pointless idea. Not every gamer out there wants to be connected all the time! Give us the choice for goodness sake!

Beautiful setting, crisp graphics, awesome story! I had hours upon hours of fun playing this game. Sometimes, I would neither bother with the main missions or the side missions and just walk around the forests, hunting or fishing or just soaking up the incredible scenery. The main story is rock solid and has memorable antagonists. The side missions are also fun, if taken with a pinch of salt. This is a game after all... I loved all the upgrades for the weapons and vehicles, if that's your thing. I rated this 4 star as my game glitched the first time I played it. Could not save anymore and was therefore stuck at a point. After restarting the game though, played from beginning to end with no issues. One of those rare games that I would gladly play a second time through.
