I'm well aware of Cage's reputation for doing any movie that comes along. (If you haven't seen the College Humor take on that [You Tube, 2012] where he enthusiastically agrees to star in such features as "Space A**" check it out, it's very funny.) That said, I genuinely do enjoy many of his movies and I've watched many that were subpar for sure, yet still entertaining because they often get the tension and emotions right. This is NOT one of them! Disjointed would he a grotesque understatement, the movie is the most pointless thing I have ever seen. The acting is beyond bad. Please, organize your sock drawer, do not waste your time watching this movie. That way at least my sacrifice was not in vain. I endured it so that you do not have to. This is not one that's "so bad, it's good". it's just plain bad. Really.
