This movie has soooo much heart. Such a cute story with really endearing characters, and all of the voice acting was fantastic.
The Wild Robot genuinely had me laughing, shocked, and tearing up a bit. There's so many little, subtle moments that just make this movie so so good.
This movie didn't shy away from death and violence, and there were a few scenes that kinda caught me off guard.
I can't overstate how much I liked this movie and how badly I want it to send a message to the rest of the film industry to bring more creativity, passion, and original ideas to life.
That being said, this movie isn't perfect. There's a quite a few cliche, annoying, cheesy, and cringy moments. The ending is okay, but it kinda falls apart, just a little bit. I also feel like the movie was focused on having a final, bombastic act, when it could have gone in a different direction that reflected the cute beginning. I didn't care much for the cheesy fake outs either. I won't spoil anything, so you'll just have to watch it.
All of that aside, I still absolutely adored the art style, the voice acting, the music, and the characters. Overall, a fantastic movie.
