This film is an absolute masterpiece. Completely original in every aspect. It is gruesome, gripping, and takes an utterly terrifying approach towards an ET encounter. It explores the dangers of domesticating and trying to tame wild creatures for exploitative purposes. Personally, I have no idea what film others (ones that say it was slow moving) were watching. I was completely blown away from the very moment the film began and it had me on the edge of my seat from there on. The pacing was executed brilliantly. It's dark, eerie, suspenseful, and shocking. The last film to have this kind of impact on me was the original (opening scene with D. Barrymore, mainly) Scream and I was 11 when I saw that. Bravo, Mr. Peele. Please keep it up!
