I love it, seen the movie 3 times and I am down for a 4th. It is a musical fantasy that tells Elton's story through His songs. It's a flashy wild ride full of color and brilliance. Elton is a bruised Diva, but thank goodness at the end He is still Standing!! The relationship between him and fellow songwriter Bernie Taupin is truly beautiful. I did not know it was a musical when I went the first time, but I am so glad it is. The musical scenes are fun and energetic. I found myself singing out loud and not caring who heard me. The lead actor Taron Egerton was amazing, capturing all my attention from the get go. He goes from being Reginald Dwight a young boy just wanting to be hugged to the larger than life musical genius he became, much love to Sir Elton John 💕💕💕💕
