It is a little over done. Lots of over acting, but it is OK. Love the clothes. I am sick of seeing how much in love the matriarch and patriarch are. Also, they have too many family meetings. I think there is a lot of potential if they just tone it down a bit.

I love this show. What is funny is initially I thought I would hate it. The whole thing sounded stupid. I watched it a couple of times and I love the characters. It is sweet and if it is not renewed I am going to be very upset. It is my favorite new series.

We loved the first 4 episodes. Can’t wait to finish up tonight. Would much rather watch this than something like the mindless Bachelor or Big Brother. Really liked the twist in the 3rd episode. I do not understand why people don’t like it. In the beginning it reminded me a little of Lost. I like the premise. It is original programming.

I am very upset that this movie is in the running for any kind of awards. For the average person, it is painful to watch. I believe it has been nominated just because people in Hollywood want to see themselves as the “true” critics who realize the worth of things that the common man cannot see. Why else would they select a movie that looks like it was made by a group of teenagers. If this movie wins, I will never watch the Academy Awards again. I can understand why all of the other movies were nominated. But, Roma is one hot mess. The plot has been done a million times. There is no originality here. The acting is bad. I cannot comment on the dialog. When you have subtitles it is hard to convey emotion. I am going to be grinding my teeth through this whole awards production. I do not see how a movie that is nominated for Best Foreign Film can also be nominated for Best Film. If Roma gets both of these awards, the people who voted for it should be prohibited from voting. next year.
