One of the best witch plots I've ever watched. It's not like any other shows I've watched in the past. The storylines and context brought up this alternate point of view on what might have happened when witches are out in the open serving their country and how the characters were brought to life by amazing actors. The uniqueness of using voices to perform magic than the classic chants or incantations is what intrigued me most and I can't wait for more episodes! It deserved more than 10 episodes per season TBH, it has lots of potential.

I honestly love this show. Growing up in the Philippines with a the Chavacano's (borrowed Spanish spoken in Zamboanga) culture and how mothers raise their children are quite similar to Latinx. That's why I it's refreshing to watch Lydia and Penelope it feels so much closer to home. I love Abuelita so much as she also reminds me of my own grandmother. Other than that the show also represents acceptance to LGBTQ community, which is very heart warming with its highs and lows. I was really looking forward to Netflix's season 4 but I was bummed out when I heard it was cancelled. I hope they reconsider putting this back on.
