7.9 ish/10 Had honestly did not expect this. I thought itll be an avg watch but it was catchy, great pace, great actors (Im sorry i doubted you Raveena, you gorgeous gorgeous woman), great story. Slightly predictable but still very hooking. Congratulations. Wasnt too draggy, was great overall. Some parts were absolutely unpredictable. Some reviews say the story is complicated.. i mean it was actually pretty simple to understand. Way simpler than the most crime thrillers. Raveena’s character was so confusing ! How was she dumb in first episode n suddenly was at par with the angad? Her language wasnt consistent either. Her acting overpowered the flaws tho. Hope there was a season two tho. Cmon makers! Bring more. Make this a multi season show. You can def do it again!

Oh dear the imdb is so off on this one. This is amazing!! Its a solid 8/10 ish. Mind blowing acting. Strong characters. Love the nuances. Doesnt go off board. Ravi slightly was a bit off for me & i doubted him up until the last second of the last epi. He turned out to be clean lol. His character isnt my fav. Neither his story is. The lead actor? the way she carries such a strong character & such a complex story all on her shoulders- Perfectly! Its definitely fiction so its def far from reality but it still manages to hook you and believe them. Congratulations to the creators. (I havent read the book)

Some braindead and sickos in the review section are so numb to caste violence that they dont even believe its true anymore. Theyll go the lengths of saying its one sided. No empathy. No compassion. No courage to face the truth. The truth is they know.. they know how exactly things are. They know how casteism prevails in villages. Talk to them & they will give you justifications also. Anyway- Great movie. Should be shown to the public. Hiding things doesn't solve anything. Pace is slightly on the slower side. Great acting. Must watch for Indians who really care about the country. Casteism needs to be thrown out. We dont need justifications for the varna system. We need to completely annihilate caste and the thinking that perpetuates this.

Dont watch. Its so stupid! What even was that story? More than hundred loopholes. Why am i seeing rohit roy as vecna! Whats even happening?! Is he a reincarnation now? Is he the devil himself? Why does the devil need a man enough to actually BE HIM rather than use him psychologically? -Good vfx. Good acting. It couldve been so so good. Had so much potential. Kajol is such a powerful actor. Please make better movies. Goddess Kali is this all powerful but the woman blessed by Kali gets harassed? ! Really? Couldve shown more of the husbands story. Young joydeep is talking to the devil is hindi? That devil is talking back? Why is that conversation not even thought upon? The devil is talking for the first time & they wrote it in 5 seconds. What.. are they besties? Why a powerful devil who literally fights ma kali would talk like that? A man who is seeing a devil isnt even scared, not even speechless, not shitting his pants. Absolutely no thought given to dialogues. Devil isnt even scary. Why would the all powerful kali swing her arms like that in that last fight! She should be shown 100x more powerful and intimidating. Not somebody whod need to swing her arms like a mechanical tool to avoid a single attack by the devil. Story is confusing. If the father was blessed with the blood drop in his eye, the powers obv passed on in his family. Agreed, the devil was hidden when all men of the families were there. Then why shwetas dad and his dad got killed so easily? Also Why wouldnt the power pass on to the girl child? Power was only enough to birth the devils child? Wth?Why wasnt he scared of the girls considering the family is blessed? When ma kali is shown angry at the last fight her anger was justified with all the killings, natural question arises that why didnt she intervene earlier when daughters were killed & what not. At least fabricate some story to avoid these loopholes so these questions wouldnt arise in audiences minds. At least Show that the devil was powerful enough to do all this to justify this. But then its also shown that Ma Kaali is obv much much powerful.. then all those actions & maa’s no intervention seems unaddressed. Involving a literal goddess in a movie thus becomes a not so easy task.

Love this. Love the storytelling. Nowhere went off track, cringe, unrealistic.

It's a mockumentary revolving around a psychopath having a dark past which is discovered later (all of it nearly the end of the movie) I loved the cinematography, direction, story, Acting & the unique concept i was surprised by. First half is slow, you MAY get bored if you're fond of commercial films but thats what makes it hell realistic, it's not perfect, it's not how youd expect out of a staged film w nice scripts & dialogues & I somehow loved it. It will be a sin if the acting goes unnoticed here, acting is definitely the key element here; you will definitely watch the entire gem of a movie, though w a few 10sec skips (if you feel it's not taking you anywhere) but nevertheless it's a brilliant modern movie touching a lot of societal issues. Full stars for just coming up w such a concept.

7.9/10 imdb is completely wrong. Make it 9.2 Its good. Everything's beautiful. Script, characters, screenplay, direction, acting, mystery.
