I had heard of the bad press accompanying this film, so I watched it to see for myself. It is a wonderful movie. I was so impressed with JD and his ability to overcome his childhood experiences. He is able to do what the rest of his family couldn’t. I didn’t realize it was a true story of love, disappointment and eventually success. The performances of Glen Close and Amy Adams are amazing. It is definitely worth the watch.
