READ THE BOOK before watching this! The adaptation and the book are two different stories. The movie doesn’t do it justice! I loved Matthew Goode as Matthew and he is a superb actor. Teresa Palmer is dismal at best. She is very monotone and not believable enough in the role. Yes she is beautiful but her lines and her emotion are just not there.... The book is addictive and I have read it 4 times. I’ve missed nights of sleep because I could put it down. I loved the other characters in the movie but I just couldn’t take Teresas acting or lack of. I hope she improves for the second season!
