I've enjoyed the Bond films since I was a kid.
They followed a formula - bond travels the world to amazing locations in cool cars and cool gadgets, with Q always singling out one particular gadget that plays a vital part later. He kills x amount of people, sleeps with a bunch of hot women and after saving the world he fades in to the distance to return and do it all again... but always with style.
This film tries to follow the same formula, but it's not quite right.
It is a good plot, and I wasn't fazed by the running time.
It ticks every diversity checklist you can think of, disability, ethnically and sexual orientation. They've made a politically correct movie, and it's not a good thing.
I'll save you the hassle of going...
He doesn't get the girl, and he doesn't fade of in to the distance.
There are a lot of nods to the old films.
As a non-bond action film it's great, but not as a bond film.
