Up to season 4. Unappealing plot after season 2. Jo has got nothing going for him physically..his voice would drive anyone to drink!! There is no depth beyond his depravity in his character. A really weird series. You may ask why persevere.. well Netflix highly recommend. But anyone with a modicum of intelligence would question this!!!

Boring, unconvincing and just plain ridiculous. Nicole Kidman's acting, role, wig and accent had me pulling my hair out. Melissa McCarthy stole the show..that's eight hours I will never get back. I persevered only because it did have some fair reviews.. I read the book a couple of years ago and loved it and am a fan of Liane Moriaty so it's not the story at fault here..

I love the depth in relationships. A bit too much screeching and yelling for me. I am 32 episodes in and Remedios is driving me nuts. Badly cast. She overacts, pouts, constantly makes idiotic faces and is not true to the character. The rest of the cast are outstanding. If there is a further series I hope they write her out of it. Generally I find it very well written, a great plot and at times the comedy is really clever. The light behind the scenes information is very entertaining.
