Love Roger Allan but the writers wasted both he and Patricia Hodge. Some beautiful scenery mixed with clunky sets. The "romantic partner" is not believable nor a brilliant actress. I agree with some others, something is definitely amiss with the extras and many of the mediocre cast. I wanted to like this show but I found it irritating.
