Hello, I work with adolescents ages 12-17 at a psych hospital. this show is absolutely disgusting and disturbing to me coming from someone working in this setting. i understand the racial equality as well as feminist messages being portrayed in this show, BUT what is being completely over looked is the unnecessary pedophilia, self harm, body dysmorphia. its absolutely disturbing to me. this is what my kiddos watch. this is where my kiddos get these ideas that they need to do these things. this is where they get trauma flashbacks from nasty old men touching young underaged teens. i am actually appalled and i am only halfway through the season. this show along with 13 reasons why is poisoning the younger population. they are so impulsive and see these things on television and think its okay and its not. this show is not okay. absolutely shame on netflix. we could have done without the self harm. without the pedophilia. without the need to hide body dysmorphia in females. shame on you netflix. for real.
